Lying to the west of central London, Hounslow is a large outer London borough which is ethnically diverse and an area of contrasts – wealthy in areas such as Chiswick, less so in areas such as Feltham.
Central to the borough’s economic wealth is its largest employer, Heathrow Airport. But Hounslow is more than just an airport. It is made up of twelve communities, each with characteristics, histories and identities of its own but all part of the once rural county known as Middlesex. There’s Bedfont to the west, where both the oldest church and the oldest house in the Borough can be found. On its eastern periphery lies Chiswick, a riverside village turned desirable suburb, where period properties mix with vibrant shops and eateries.
Parks, open spaces and nature reserves are plentiful in Hounslow: Bedfont Lakes Country Park is a designated Local Nature Reserve and Site of Importance for Nature Conservation; Dukes Hollow is a small area of ecological importance located by Barnes Bridge on the River Thames; and Hanworth Park is one of Hounslow’s Historic Parks and was once used by Henry VIII!
Whether you are a resident or business owner in Hounslow, the chances are, at some point, you are going to need to hire a van – for a small office move, transporting and storing food for a London exhibition, showcasing your products at a promotional event, helping to move your children to college or university, helping to move your own things to your new home, picking up a large item ordered off eBay.
Whatever the reason, we will have the right vehicle for you – short, medium or long base, low or medium roof, with or without tail-lift, with or without garment rails, specialist chiller and freezer vans. If you’re not quite sure what type of vehicle you need, we are very happy to run through all the various options and sizes available to ensure you are matched with the best vehicle for you and your job.
